MMBSHS Trust is a volunteer-driven charitable trust (an NGO, Not-For-Profit Organization) involved in Public Health, Community Health, Health Literacy, Health Education and Promotion, and Climate Change and Health in the hills of Uttarakhand Himalayas in India with an organizational strategy of not taking any external financial help or grant for its work, initiatives, and programs. Only donations from our volunteers in the form of their time and finance, if possible, which is generally a tiny amount. We work in the Himalayan mountains, one of the most climate-sensitive and hazardous areas globally, with geographical challenges, equity, and socioeconomic issues, including climate justice issues. Research and advocacy make up the core of our work, where we get into the bioethical problems regarding the availability, accessibility, and affordability of healthcare, and they have become part of our work in the last couple of years. It is based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. We collaborate with multiple local, national, and global organizations to learn and share experiences and knowledge.
